As the name implies, Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan is a fragrance that will leave you feeling as if you have been lightly covered with some of the world’s softest and most sensual fabric. It will have you enveloped in a creamy and soft aura.

Released in 1994, Cashmere Mist immediately became an overnight success. Its unique scent and wonderful base notes created a fragrance that was different and distinctive, while at the same time evoking that classical Donna Karan beauty. The fragrance is totally feminine and this is even more emphasized by the shape and curves of the bottle.

When using the Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Perfume, the wearer is introduced to a fragrance which can be best described as light, woody and very romantic. It starts off as a very airy scent and then develops into a fine woodiness, that is influenced by the soft and gentle suede and sandalwood notes. The fragrance never comes off smelling sweet, despite the mix of soft jasmine and bergamot. People often describe it as being very light and powdery from beginning to end.

Cashmere Mist is one of those scents that will be impelling. It is very clean and powdery and makes the skin feel like it wants to be caressed. It also gives off that invitation of something you would want to snuggle up to. The fragrance is not overpowering and it is extremely sophisticated and feminine.

The perfume works best for the fall and winter months as its softness works better for colder times as opposed to warmer months. It is a perfect daytime perfume and it is an excellent lead off for the night. The perfume is very strong, as a small drop on the wrist is enough to last all day.

Overall Donna Karan Cashmere Mist is a great light, fresh floral scent. It is a very nice fragrance that does not have much sweetness to it. It is perfect for the woman that needs a boost in their confidence or feel a bit sensual. It is a must have for any woman’s perfume collection and it is so charmingly made, you will not be disappointed.
